Norm West's Awesome Divco |
1955 Ford Panel spotted at Algonac in 2002. |
Here are some friends' trucks as well as some nice panels I have spotted at various shows |
Duncan purchased this truck in Port Huron, MI in 1982. It was built in St. Louis,
MO, and purchased by the Cronkright's of Springfield, MO, for $1,541.00 on April
19, 1949. The previous owner repainted the truck in 1974. It remains basically unrestored. However, she waxes up well and the Farm/steam engine shows Duncan attends have folks who love basic, old trucks rather than show vehicles! He rechromed the bumpers, grill, did the seat in comfortable nonstock material, went to 12-volt alternator system, all new brake cylinders and linings, and a 1998 treat -- 5 new tires! This may not be a show truck (Duncan's words, not mine), but Duncan and Pat drive it and have fun . The Fenton headers and dual exhaust sounds great! |
Duncan White's 1949 Chevy Pickup |
This fine truck is pretty much stock except a non-factory radio. |
Ross dropped a 350 in this baby and lowered it, as the plate says, E NUFF. |
This is one awesome truck ! Big Motor, low ride. flip front end, stretched, custom
frame and just about everything else is too. The hood and fenders are really
Divco parts, the rest is fabricated. |
Brian's added some cool pinstripping since this photo was taken. The motor is a 351
backed by a C-6. The hood tilts forward. Piping in the interior matches the new stripping outside. Watch for this truck, it's slick! Lots of neat touches. |
Ron's Chopped '50 Chevy Panel This is one sweet truck and though some may think the chop ain't cool, ya gotta see this truck to believe it. Lots of period speed equipment on that Stovebolt. Way cool, man ! |
