MacKenzie Iron & Steel's
M.A.C. Tugger Hoist 1:48
This is an extremely detailed kit that uses the ubiquitous Fordson Tractor as its power plant. A different sort of "donkey" engine used in logging. Includes the Skagit Fairlead and sample wire rope. Manufacturer is uncertain if this kit will be produced again, all we can do is hope ( and keep bugging them for more)
Kit #S-601

Clover House wire rope as shown and extra tools as shown are not included..
Willamette Log Buggy
Another fine model from MacKenzie Iron & Steel in 1:48 scale. Loaded with detail, another contraption that used the Fordson tractor as a power plant. The front wheels can be made steerable. Makes a nice detail around the sawmill.
Kit # M-107   .

Lumber load not included.
Fordson Locomotive (unpowered)
Several companies used the Fordson tractor power unit to come up with narrow-gauge locomotives. Highly detailed kit builds into a fabulous model. Kit no longer in production.

McKenzie Iron and Steel makes some very unique and exquisitely detailed kits in "O" scale (1:48th) as well as some very nice figures. We try our best to keep these kits in stock at all times, but due to the fact that they are produced in very small numbers, and that they are extremely popular, they do sell out quickly. We can also assemble these kits for you, please enquire.
McKenzie Iron & Steel was "supposedly" back in production, but we have not heard from Bill Roy the manufacturer in over four months, so we must presume that these are no longer being produced.
We do have a very few of the figures in stock ...
This may be your last chance to get these figures.
All prices are subject to change pending exchange rates, casting metal prices, higher and higher shipping costs, etc.

The Fordson Tractor .................
This is one excellent kit!  Builds into a stunning replica of the machine that replaced the horse on farms across North America. Lots of neat detail, rad hoses and other engine detail, fabulous wheels, even a cylinder head gasket printed on the instruction sheet. Excellent instructions too. Three differenct versions are available
